Remember AINT when formatting your citations:

  • Indent: use a hanging indent
    • ‚ÄčIn Google Docs
      • Highlight your citation(s) (do not highlight any annotations)
      • Go to the Format menu
      • Select Align & Indent
      • Select Indentation Options
      • Under the Special dropdown menu, select Hanging (left and right should be set to 0, hanging should be 0.5)
  • No numbering, bullet points, hyphens, etc. before each citation. All you need is the hanging indent
  • Title your document as appropriate: either BibliographyWorks Cited, or Annotated Bibliography. Titles should be centered and in the same font and size as the rest of the page. No underlining, italicizing, or special fonts are used
